The name YRSA is first mentioned in -Beowulf- an old English poem from around 700. Icelandic scholar, Torkelin, studied the poem in London from 1786 and it was first printed 1815 in Copenhagen. Later the English manuscript got damaged so his work saved this oldest English epic poem. Another twist is when the English set Copenhagen ablaze in 1807 and Torkelin lost all his research work of 20 years and had to start anew.
